GALATASARAY EYE BERBATOV BID
08th November 2011
Galatasaray have admitted their interest in out-of-favour Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov.
Berbatov, a £30million signing from Spurs in 2008, has started only one Premier League game this season with his only goal of the campaign coming in the 3-0 Carling Cup win at Aldershot.
Galatasaray president Unal Aysal denies a deal is already in place for the Bulgarian, but says Berbatov is one of a number of players on their shortlist.
He is quoted in the Daily Mail as saying: "We're not just looking at Berbatov; we're interested in a number of players.
"We can only get in contact and decide at the end of December, when the time comes."
